I’d say it’s pretty awesome when a friend whom you’ve only seen a couple times in the last decade finds a Swiss-made audiophile turntable at Goodwill in very good condition, buys it, and then sells it to you essentially at his cost. It’s not every day that a record fanatic like me scores an original Thorens TD-160 for less than 25% of what they typically sell for in far lesser condition. This thing is three years older than me and sounds amazing!
