That sound... it's absolutely beautiful... the clicking and whirring... and it sounds like a choir in the background. Oh what a wonder the microchip is. Oh how blessed we are to have pagers and voicemail and e-mail and fax machines so we don't ever have to see each other face to face anymore. Oh how truly lucky we are to hear the sound of binary...that hissing white noise is like a lullaby.
