I’m back from three AMAZING days in New York.<\/p>\n

I was in Manhattan for a media event at The Warwick where I had some excellent conversations with producers from CBS News, NBC News, Good Housekeeping, Family Circle, Oprah Winfrey’s “O” Magazine, Parents Magazine, Dr. Oz, Wendy Williams, and a number other media outlets, as well as an on-camera interview, and an interview for Instagram with a NYC-area social media influencer. The latter remembered me from last year and even gave\u00a0me a huge hug when she saw me.<\/span><\/p>\n

When work was done, I was treated to an amazing steak dinner and some awesome conversation at Gallagher’s Steakhouse with a handful of colleagues from a PR firm. I also managed to squeeze in a walk around Manhattan. My hotel was very close to what is probably my favorite part of the city: Central Park. I made my way through the park, down to Times Square, and to a few other places. I managed to cover a whole lot of ground in a short amount of time.<\/p>\n

My supposedly-haunted hotel failed to deliver on the paranormal end of things, but was actually the quietest hotel in which I’ve ever stayed. It has no 13th floor, but has a church on the 5th floor. No, I’m not kidding.<\/p>\n

It was another adventure, for which I am grateful. I enjoyed the trip a whole lot, but I am glad to be back. Phoenix isn’t perfect, but it’s home and I’m thankful for it. There truly is no place like home.<\/p>\n
